Long gone are the days when Mallorca was only known for charter trips and partying on the beach. The island is rapidly transforming into an outdoor destination that trades on the amazing nature, the abundance of sunshine and the laid-back island life.
Although not (yet) famous for e-biking, it means you get the playful terrain and breathtaking views all to yourself. With a huge network of hiking trails and its ancient history, e-bikers have started finding their way around the rocky and rolling hills.
The rural roads are perfect for pedalling up the hills to give you access to Mallorca's best e-bike trails, that often take you right down to the beach. Mix that with the fresh, locally produced Balearic cuisine, prime beaches and the cultural treasures of Palma and you've got the whole package for a great time.

The island's mountain range and rural nature lies ready to welcome e-bike enthusiasts from all over the world looking for new trails. e-biking is well on the rise but still in what we call the sweet spot, where it has yet been a target for mass tourism but already with a well-developed trail infrastructure.
With the ease of access from most major airports in Europe, Mallorca is the perfect e-bike destination for combining earth (rock), sun and sea. There are endless of combinations to make your e-bike holiday more than just about mountain biking. Why not combine a long day of riding with a siesta on the beach or an afternoon round of golf.
As much as Mallorca is an island for adventure seekers it is also well-known culinary destination, characterised by local produce and a number of famous restaurants. You will have the opportunity to experience the picturesque villages and the grand cathedral in Palma to soak up some of the Mallorquin heritage, either on or off the bike.

Your home during the trip is Villa Es Costeret de Son Grau. This beautiful and spacious villa accommodates 12 persons in 6 twin rooms and 3 bathrooms with a shower and bathtub. It features two lounges, perfect for hanging out after a day of riding. It also has a secured bike garage with all the tools you need to tune your bike for the next day.
For those who want to relax, the house has a pool overlooking the stunning UNESCO World Heritage site "Tramuntana Mountains". If it gets a bit chilly during the evenings you could just cuddle up in front of one of the two fire places in the villa.
Breakfasts, snacks and dinners are prepared by our talented chefs who will make sure you're all fuelled up for the next day on the trails. If you're in the mood for some sightseeing you'll have the picturesque town Alaró about 15 min away with the bike.
Welcome to Mallorca! Our guides will pick you up at Palma de Mallorca ́s (PMI) Airport and drive you to our villa located outside the town of Alaró. We'll gather in the evening for a short introduction and welcome dinner.
We start each day with breakfast prepared by our private chef. The first couple of days are spent in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains where we ride around the Lluc Monastery mixing technical trails with rock gardens passing by ancient ruins of limestone ovens. Don't worry, in between the steeper and technical trails there are flowy parts and sights that make for perfect spots to catch your breath at.
Na Burguesa. Time to get to know Palma de Mallorca's backyard! We get a full body workout on the physical trails around Na Burguesa while enjoying the panoramic views of Palma and its coastline. Today's cherry on top is to try out the local downhill track packed with challenging and playful features.
No plans day. Time to rest the bodies from pumped arms and burning legs. We highly recommend going on a boat trip to the dreamy island of Sa Dragonera located south west of Mallorca. A fun little excursion to get some different perspective of Mallorca and to see something different. If you still feel the need for speed you can of course do some more riding on this day as well.
We get shuttled up to Mola de Sobremunt followed by a little warm up pedal before we start the fun on the 7 km rocky and natural trail down to the village Esporles. These days include trails taking us via fast and flowy trails from Mirador des Coloms all the way down to the beach. We also tackle our highest trails of the trip, riding in between some of the highest peaks of the island, including the Puig Major (1436m) before descending through natural trails and olive groves before finishing on the doorsteps of the villa in Alaró.
Time to say hasta luego! Unfortunately, it’s time to say good bye for now. Our guides will ensure that you are at the airport right on time for your flight back home.
Apparently a picture says more than a 1,000 words so why don't sit back and enjoy our favourite photos from our Mallorca e-bike tours.
In order to enjoy Mallorca's magnificent Tramuntana mountains and other areas we recommend being an intermediate mountain biker who has some experience in steep and technical terrain. There is a mixture of flowy single tracks and technical rock sections that offers opportunities to challenge yourself.
You have ridden enduro and/or downhill mountain biking at least 10 times and master root sections and rock gardens as long as it's not too steep. You still handle the steeper trails while they are not too technical.
In Mallorca we use shuttles to access the best trails but you should be able to pedal your bike uphill about 1 hour per day and climb 3-400m during consecutive days riding. You don't mind steep uphill climbs for about 10 to 15 minutes at the time. Downhill you happily ride up to 3000 verticals per day. You exercise on average 2 times per week. It is worth noting that in parts of the season it can get warm which increases the need for good fitness.
