TRIP ENQUIRY

To fully enjoy riding in Stellenbosch, we recommend being at least an intermediate mountain biker who’s comfortable on a variety of terrain and moderate technical sections. The trails combine flowing singletrack with short, steady climbs that aren’t overly steep, and the technical parts are generally brief and well balanced with smoother, faster sections. Most of the trail networks are linked by pedal connections, making it easy to move between areas without long transfers. When we use shuttles, it’s mainly to access higher zones or maximize descent time. Expect fun, well-built trails that offer the perfect blend of flow, challenge, and progression.

Skill Level Recommended:

Beginner (to Advanced)

You have picked up an interest in the world of mountain biking and are eager to experience more action on the trails. You have brief experience from riding single tracks and want to improve your skills further. Or want to rekindle an old passion of mountain biking not exercised for a while.

Fitness Level Recommended:

The Striving Prospect

You can pedal uphill 1 hour per day and climb 300m during consecutive days riding. You don't mind steep uphill climbs for about 10 to 15 minutes at the time. Downhill you happily ride up to 3000 verticals per day. You exercise on average 2 times per week.
