Arrival Day

You will be met at Lisbon airport and driven to your guest house in the Sintra area (approx. 45 minutes). Upon arrival you will have time to settle in and make sure you have everything for the first day of riding.

Day 1

After breakfast you will head out for your first day of riding. Typically, on our first day we start with some warm-up trails to become one with the bike and to adjust the itinerary to be best suited for the whole group. After a full day of riding, laughing and sweating, we will head back to the accommodation.

Day 2 (or Day 2 & 3 on longer trips)

Based on the first day, we start exploring more of the different combinations of daily tours available to us. After a few runs in the mornings we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant or a scenic spot for a picnic. Depending on your energy level we will keep riding for a few more hours or take it easy and enjoy some time by the beach.

Day 3 (or Day 4-6 on longer trips)

We will keep exploring the trails in the Sintra region. For the longer trips, one of the days will likely be spent in Lisbon City to explore the local trails around there as well as some urban riding (a great experience to see more of Lisbon).

Departure Day

Today we will take it easy in the morning, round off the trip and return back to the airport.

TRIP ENQUIRY

Given the variety of the terrain, we have a lot of opportunities to cater to all levels. To make sure you enjoy Sintra to its full extent we recommend you are comfortable on your bike in both forest, alpine and technical terrain.

For the MTB tours the trails are usually accessed by shuttle, but in order to reach our favourite trails we typically pedal and push for shorter sections of up to 30 minutes.

Skill Level Recommended:

Intermediate

You have ridden enduro and/or downhill mountain biking at least 10 times and master root sections and rock gardens as long as it's not too steep. You still handle the steeper trails while they are not too technical.

Fitness Level Recommended:

The Happy Amateur

You can pedal your bike uphill at least 30 minutes per day and climb 150m during several consecutive days. Comfortably ride 1500 vertical meters per day downhill before the notorious cramp makes an entrance. You exercise on average at least once per week.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
